NAR Predicts 2012 Existing Home Sales at 5-year High

Inman News recently reported that The National Association of Realtors is predicting that home sales will increase 7-10 percent this year marking a five year high.  Although the sales pattern has been “uneven” this year, the pending sales index is a deal higher than it was during the same months one year ago.

 

In the Northeast, NAR's index slipped a seasonally adjusted 0.6 percent from January but was up 18.4 percent from a year ago.
